The Guy Lombardo Pavilion, situated in Springbank Gardens at 285 Wonderland Road South in London, Ontario, is a cherished venue that pays homage to the city’s musical heritage. The pavilion’s name honors Guy Lombardo, a renowned bandleader born in London, whose early performances in the area contributed to the city’s rich musical tradition. Originally known as Wonderland Gardens, the site has evolved from a popular dance hall in the 1930s to a modern community facility. Today, the pavilion serves as a versatile space for a variety of events, including the popular Springbank Gardens Concert Series, which offers free live music every Sunday afternoon from June to September. With its blend of historical significance and modern facilities, the Guy Lombardo Pavilion continues to be a vibrant center for cultural and recreational activities in London.
